I'm packing my suitcase and I'm taking with me...

Summer vacation time is just around the corner, and we're packing our bags, backpacks, and suitcases. For our tech-savvy customers, we've put together a small packing list with our top tech gadgets that you definitely shouldn't forget.

1.    Essential Travel Buddies: Power Banks

Boarding passes, navigation systems, reservation confirmations; everything is on our smartphones. So, it's particularly annoying when the battery suddenly dies. But beware: for air travel, power banks must be carried in hand luggage and not in checked luggage for safety reasons.

2.    Finding Lost Items

Who doesn't know it: the key to the holiday apartment fell out of your pocket while paying for ice cream, or you left your wallet in the hotel room. Misplaced and lost items can really ruin your holiday. Small tracking devices can help with that.

3.    Mobile and Compact

Hopefully, the laptop stays at home, but you still need to organize the next road trip stop and finally have time to binge-watch your favorite series. The best way to do this is on a tablet.

4.    E-reader

Holiday time is the chance to finally read one or even several books. With the e-reader, you can reduce your TBR (to be read) pile without needing the extra weight or space.

5.    Listening Pleasure with or without cables

With or without cables, for your morning meditation, favorite music, or the latest audiobook, your headphones are indispensable.

6.    Instant Holiday Photos!

Smartphone printers fit in your pocket and make printing holiday photos particularly easy. Don't postpone printing; start creating your holiday photo album now while you have the time.

7.    And where to store it all?

Tech kits or pouches are practical bags for stylishly storing all these great gadgets and their charging cables.

8.    Bluetooth Speaker: Have your favorite playlist with you everywhere

These powerful little speakers can be used for pleasant background music up to a summer party night. It is best to invest in a splash-proof or even waterproof model, so you can take it to the lake, beach, or boat.

9.    Smart and Safe: Optimally protected and stylish

A smart wallet is a wallet equipped with additional functions such as a card pop-up mechanism, NFC/RFID protection, and GPS tracking. This way, your payment methods are optimally organized and protected against data theft.

10.    And for those staying at home: Only the best grilling highlights with a smart grill thermometer

No more sweating next to the grill and constantly wondering if the chicken is done. Follow the cooking process of your meat easily via the app and receive a notification on your smartphone or tablet when everything is ready.

For perfect results every time, some thermometers even offer guided cooking, leading users step-by-step through the cooking process.

Sandy sound? How to save your headphones

1.    Turn off the headphones: Turn off your headphones and disconnect them from any devices.

2.    Remove coarse sand: Gently shake the headphones to remove loose sand. You can also use a soft brush or toothbrush to sweep off the sand.

3.    Remove finer sand: Use compressed air (e.g., from a can of compressed air) to blow sand out of hard-to-reach areas. Do not hold the nozzle too close to avoid damage.

4.    Thorough cleaning: If the headphones are not waterproof, avoid contact with water. Instead, use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the surface. Ensure no moisture enters the electronic parts.

5.    Check the connections: Make sure no sand grains are stuck in the connections. You can use a can of compressed air or a soft brush to remove sand from the connections.

6.    Let them dry: Allow the headphones to air dry completely before using them again. Ensure no moisture remains.

7.    Function test: Connect the headphones and test them to ensure they are working properly.

If the headphones still are not working properly after these steps, consider having them checked by a professional or contacting the manufacturer's support.
